Window Watching

Window watching
Waiting
Wondering if the darkening sky
Will or
Won't bring rain before dark
Where the treetops reach above houses
Wind blows them gently
When the clouds get dark and
Woeful
We know it can't be far off
Waiting
Window watching

  1. This is awesome. Both in its construction and form and in that I am doing the exact same thing right now! :) Love it.

  2. Wonderful and so creative! I think that rain will be coming after dark. It's been here most of the day.

  3. I like how you started with alliterations ( window watching waiting wondering) then changed the pattern so each line started with a W word.

  5. I, too, appreciate your work. Wasn't this prelude to spring wonderful today? Too bad it wasn't Wednesday!
