Huh. I logged on to slice, and there it was in the stats that show up when I open my blogger account. I had no idea.

Apparently, this will be slice number 100 from the sofa. Part of me thinks, "only 100? Really? Seems like I've been doing this longer than 100 posts....or maybe that is a lot and I'm just oblivious."
Either way, I have nothing. Nada. Zip.
Disappointing, right? You probably were expecting something clever or funny or....well, good. But here you are, still reading, even though this is certainly not 100th-slice worthy.
But you know what? I'm sitting here on the sofa slicing (yes, the sofa...where almost all the slices were written...see the picture to the right? That's where my rear end is parked right now). And wanna know something cool? When I sat down to do this late on a looonnnggg day, I had not one single idea in my head. But I sat down to slice anyway, and there it was.

In my mind, this proves it.
If you believe hard enough, the Slice Fairy will provide.
WOOO HOOOO! You hit 100 posts! Guess what - my 100th post is tomorrow! I'm excited for both of us. We are writers! Congratulations, Ruth!!!
ReplyDeleteYeah for 100. That is lots. I have enjoyed reading all of them! I feel just like you lately as I am having trouble thinking of slices. Keep looking forward. I will be waiting for 101 tomorrow! :)
ReplyDeleteI believe in the Slice Fairy, too. It is hard to pull coherent thoughts together at the end of a long day ... I didn't know that about myself until this challenge. I'm definitely more motivated in the earlier part of the day. Say, "Hi," to your sofa for me... I visited mine only briefly tonight...this is from my Kindle while lying in bed!
ReplyDeleteVery funny and quite true.
ReplyDeleteMy aching feet would love to be propped up, but I slave away at the stool at the kitchen table. I think your point is well taken. Just keep writing. Thanks!
The slice fairy! Where do you come up with this stuff?? You act as if you have nothing, and there it is: a gem.
ReplyDeleteCelebrate! Celebrate! Celebrate! Cheers to the Slice Fairy! Cheers to writing! I went back reading some other slices I had missed this week. Slice Fairy clearly enjoys your company.
ReplyDeleteAwesome.
